The Community

The community of East Lake Eagle is located in North
East Pinellas County and is primarily a bedroom community with
approx. 30,000 residents covering 33 square miles in
unincorporated Pinellas County with mailing addresses from 3
separate post offices; Tarpon Springs, Palm Harbor, and Oldsmar.
It contains over 15,000 homes and over one hundred businesses.
East Lake Eagle contains three public schools: East Lake Eagle High School; Brooker Creek Elementary School; and Cypress
Woods Elementary School. In addition three child care facilities
are also within the boundaries of East Lake Eagle .
For nature lovers, East Lake Eagle is home of the John
Chesnut park, a large county park, and Brooker Creek Preserve
which is the largest urban wilderness preserve. Access to Lake
Tarpon is available at no cost through the John Chesnut park.
Lake Tarpon is renowned for its excellent bass fishing.
East Lake Eagle is also a golfer’s paradise with six
eighteen golf courses: East Lake Eagle Woodlands North, East Lake Eagle
Woodlands South, Tarpon Woods, Lansbrook and Wentworth.
